NGC Names Thiegs President

National Gift Card has appointed Eric Thiegs as the company’s new President, effective immediately. Thiegs, formerly Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at NGC, reports to Chief Executive Officer Adam Van Witzenburg, who previously held both positions and retains the CEO role. Thiegs joined National Gift Card in 2013 and will now be responsible for continuing to position NGC as the industry’s leader in gift card fulfillment, championing both its physical gift card fulfillment technology and its latest digital and mobile delivery solutions through NGC’s proprietary Gift Card API. With more than 17 years of experience in the loyalty industry, Thiegs spent five years as a Senior Account Executive on Visa Rewards at Carlson Marketing Group, five years as Director of Partnership Marketing at Access Development, a year as head of accounts for a branding/PR/marketing agency, and four years running his own partnership agency. “Eric’s vast experience and his focus on the ever-evolving relationships and trends in our industry makes him well-qualified to lead National Gift Card in his new role,” notes Van Witzenburg.
