Incentive Rep Profile: National Incentive Brands

This article on National Incentive Brands (NiB), a division of All-Star Incentive Marketing (ASIM), continues an RRN series profiling incentive representatives.

Robert LudwigNational Incentive Brands (NiB) was established as a division of All-Star Incentive Marketing (ASIM) in 2008 to provide brand name merchandise to industry resellers nationwide, says Robert Ludwig, National Sales Manager.

“Our reseller customers include incentive companies, premium jobbers, promotional product distributors, event planners, gifting companies, specialty e-commerce, and sales promotion agencies.” NiB also works as a direct factory manufacturer’s representative in New England for a select number of factory partners including Citizen Watch America and Bissell Homecare International, he says. NiBAs a master fulfillment company, “NiB offers quick order turnaround on thousands of items warehoused at our distribution center located in Fiskdale MA. Many of our resellers have programs with end-user clients that demand exceptional customer service, technical support, fast order processing and fulfillment. With in-house engagement services, IT (information technology), warehousing, marketing and communications, NiB meets and exceeds the stringent KPIs (key performance indicators) that are required by the industry’s leading reseller companies.”

All Star Incentive MarketingLudwig says that NiB offers “dedicated account management, distributes multiple brands on an exclusive and/or semi-exclusive basis within the premium/incentive marketplace, supports custom catalog feeds through various technical integrations, fulfills curated gift-gallery shopping events, creates customized online redemption sites, product bundles, coordinates decoration when needed, and maintains systems to ensure operations, communications, physical, and environmental security.”

Among the biggest trends observed by Ludwig, “We’re seeing more and more promotional product industry distributors and suppliers looking to capitalize on the incentive opportunity. Distributors are now sourcing brand name merchandise for holiday gifts, meeting gifts, recognition programs (Years of Service, Peer to Peer), casino traffic builders, and for safety, health, and wellness programs. Leading promotional product suppliers are negotiating distribution agreements and licensing deals with brands not historically offered with decoration, while traditional premium/incentive industry suppliers are increasingly offering customization as a value add.” As an example, he notes, NiB has recently become a PPAI Supplier Member (787369) and will be introducing a new Dell customization program at the upcoming PPAI Expo in January 2023”.
