Boost Engagement Launches Coinz for SMB Market

Boost Engagement, a Dayton-based technology company, recently launched Boost with Coinz. Boost with Coinz is “strategically designed to build total workforce engagement for small and mid-sized organizations with a dual virtual and on-the-spot rewarding vehicle. The patented Boost with Coinz combines the qualities of an online employee engagement program with a face-to-face rewarding approach and private social newsfeed to help drive program visibility and team member interaction,” the company says.

“Since 2005, we’ve served hundreds of thousands of employees, helping drive work focus, excitement, and profitability back to those organizations. We’ve taken all our experience and bundled the best features together into a free-to-use platform,” says Michael Emoff, Chief Vision Officer. “Our goal was to create something effective and affordable, easy to use, giving the power of ‘big’ to the ‘less than big’ companies.”

According to the company, the Boost with Coinz platform provides “a tool to keep employees connected to the business and each other through an interactive private social news feed and rewards program. Employees can receive a Coinz coin in person if they're in the office, or virtually if they’re remote. With customizable reward values and vibrant coin colors, employees can compete to show off their achievements and inspire others over time by creating their own ‘trophy’ by stacking their magnetic coins. Employees will establish their own accounts, allowing them to redeem from hundreds of thousands of awards.”

Kazoo Moves Quickly to Integrate Worker Voice With Rewards

Austin-based employee engagement tech firm Kazoo has wasted no time implementing its merger with Toronto-based WorkTango, an employee voice company.

Rob Catalano, co-founder of WorkTango, an employee voice technology firm, has been named Kazoo’s new Chief Strategy Officer as part of the merger between the two companies. In addition, the combined company is rapidly integrating the two technologies as described on its Linkedin page: “Kazoo plus WorkTango is the first holistic employee experience platform that helps companies engage, retain and inspire their workforce through recognition and rewards, continuous performance conversations, and authentic employee listening. The employee experience platform brings together everything you need to create a high-performing, connected culture regardless of where your employees work or what device they use. By combining goals and OKRs (objectives and key results), recognition, feedback, conversations, incentives and surveys within a single, easy-to-use platform, your employees become more engaged, your managers become better leaders, and your productivity and business performance soars.”
