David Klein, Spirit Airlines Talent Exec, Named RPI Board President

Recognition Professionals International elects new slate of board directors. 
 
David KleinDavid Klein, Senior Director for Talent and Organizational Development at Spirit Airlines, is the new Board President for Recognition Professionals International, effective January 2022.  
 
According to the announcement, Klein has over 10 years of experience in human resources and talent development in travel, media, and hospitality. He has been a member of RPI for five years and has served four years on the RPI board including as vice president and executive vice president. 
 
“I am honored to lead RPI into our next phase of growth toward being the premier professional organization for recognition professionals. Recognition done well is a powerful tool that helps employees feel valued, drives productivity, and builds engagement. My goal for 2022 is that RPI contributes to the creation of better workplace experiences when organizations apply our standards and members participate in our educational programs and the greater RPI community. Whether attending our monthly webinars, investing in Certified Recognition Professional (CRP) coursework, entering our awards program, or coming together with like-minded professionals at our annual summit – RPI has something to offer everyone. I look forward to a successful and accomplished year,” Klein says.
