Castle Offers Ember Temperature Controlled Mugs to the Corporate Market
Ember, which claims to offer the world’s first temperature-controlled mug, is a design-led temperature control brand and technology platform whose mission is to revolutionize the way people eat, drink and live. Castle Merchandising says it is the first to bring this line to the corporate market.
Ember makes it possible to keep the coffee in your cup at the desired temperature until the last drop. Founded by inventor and serial entrepreneur Clay Alexander, “Ember creates, designs and develops temperature control products that offer people complete customization. The award-winning Ember Travel Mug and Ember Mug are the most advanced coffee mugs on the market, allowing you to set and maintain your preferred drinking temperature for hot beverages.”
Products start with a $99 retail 10 fl. oz. ceramic smart mug, allowing users to set an exact drinking temperature so the coffee is never too hot, or too cold for up to 1 ½ hours. The mug is reportedly safe to hand wash and submersible in up to three feet in water. A built-in battery maintains the temperature and includes a charging coaster.
A 12 fl. oz. deluxe model retailing for $179.99 maintains the drinking temperature for up to three hours.
