Two Suppliers Offer Artisanal Products for Incentives, Rewards and Gifts

More interest in authenticity has created a new twist on event, rewards and gift programs that are being addressed by two companies bringing artisanal products to the IRR and gift markets.

HHP (Helping Hands Partners) is a not-for-profit firm that sources artisanal gourmet foods, bath products, handcrafted jewelry, women’s fashion and tech accessories, and more for use in any type of incentive, recognition, reward, or gift program. According to company President Dena Hirschberg, the goal of the organization is to spread prosperity by increasing the distribution of quality artisanal products produced in the U.S. and fair-trade organizations around the world to “help people improve their lives and become self-sufficient by providing job opportunities to those with barriers to employment.”

Similarly, to support its clients in the event marketing space, Cultivate, a leading event-gifting company, has launched a line of “destination-inspired gifts, handi-crafted by local artisans, delivered by a trusted source.” Tom Romine, the company’s President, says this new service responds to a desire on the part of participants for authentic local gifts and eliminates for planners the work of selecting appropriate items from trusted sources in local areas. The company enables clients to “curate” their own gift boxes based on dozens of selections in eight of the most popular motivational event destinations.
