Next Level Performance Marks 50 Years With an Emphasis on Giving Back

Founded in 1976 by Jim DittmanNext Level Performance is marking its 50th anniversary by expanding a tradition that the company says has long been part of its culture: community service.

Its annual HOPE Week—Helping Other Persevere and Excel—brought employees together for volunteer projects and charitable activities, and this year was expanded with a 50 Days of Giving Back initiative encouraging employees to contribute time and talent to causes in their own communities. Employees worked with organizations including Elijah’s Promise, assembled 96 backpacks with school supplies for children fighting cancer through The Valerie Fund, and prepared 192 snack packs for children experiencing food insecurity through the Center for Food Action. Click here for more details.

The company says it donated a total of $25,000 to five nonprofit organizations that, like Next Level, were founded in 1976: The Valerie Fund, Center for Food Action, Center for Hope & Safety, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey, and Greater Middlesex & Morris Habitat for Humanity.

Dave DittmanDittman, the company’s Founder and Chairman, says the business was established on the belief that companies have a responsibility to better the communities they serve. Dave Dittman, President of Next Level Performance, says the anniversary also provides an opportunity to define where the company goes next, with continued emphasis on creating value for clients, employees and communities.

The New Brunswick, N.J.-based company provides employee engagement, recognition, loyalty, incentive travel and related performance solutions. It says its 50th anniversary activities are intended not simply to commemorate longevity, but to reinforce the people and community values on which the company says it was built.

Madison Global Names Agnes O’Connell VP of Marketing Across Recognition and Travel

Agnes O'ConnellMore than 50 years after its own founding, Madison Global said it is strengthening its marketing leadership with the appointment of Agnes O’Connell as Vice President of Marketing, responsible for strategy across both Madison Recognition and Madison Travel.  O’Connell brings significant experience in incentive industry marketing, demand generation, positioning and business development. She spent much of her career at HMI Performance Incentives, holding progressively senior positions in sales operations, demand generation and marketing before HMI was acquired by 360insights. She subsequently became Vice President of Marketing and Demand Generation at 360insights.

In her new role, O’Connell will be charged with strengthening Madison’s market position, increasing visibility for its recognition and travel businesses and accelerating demand generation. She also recently was elected to the Incentive Marketing Association Board of Directors and previously received recognition as an Incentive Awards “Young Gun” and HMI President’s Excellence Award recipient.

Alex Michael Alaminos, President and CEO of Madison Global, says O’Connell brings the industry knowledge and strategic perspective needed as the company strengthens its market presence and more closely connects marketing with its broader business strategy. O’Connell said she was attracted by the combination of Madison’s 50-year foundation and the opportunity to bring the strengths of its Recognition and Travel businesses together around a clearer growth strategy.

Founded in 1975, Madison Global operates Madison Recognition and Madison Travel and is now 100% employee-owned. The company provides recognition technology and services as well as incentive travel, meetings and events, positioning the two businesses as complementary ways to help organizations strengthen culture, engagement and performance.
