Crutchfield Joins Early Leaders in Launching Transactional Platforms for the Trade

As more organizations use brands for their business, event, spot awards, and imprinted product programs, Crutchfield is joining a few leading retailers with corporate divisions as well as leading master fulfillment companies creating transactional online browsing and purchasing portals for qualified resellers and their clients.

Crutchfield B2BCrutchfield, one of the nation’s top consumer electronics retailers, has recently launched a B2B e-commerce platform specifically designed for its business, government and educational customers.  “Once carefully vetted, Crutchfield business customers have access to Crutchfield’s nearly 20,000 sku’s as well as a series of special B2B perks,” explains Will Crutchfield, Manager Business Sales and Development. In addition to its retail business, Crutchfield serves the corporate gifting, premiums and incentive, and promotional products industries.

Explains Will Crutchfield, “We are seeing an increase in demand for quality brand items being purchased for corporate events as well as being used in rewards and incentive programs. More and more customers are requesting logoed items, and value a partner that can drop-ship directly to the end-user as well as accept multiple payment options.  Our team is focused on building quality, long-term relationships – this means we occasionally turn down business that we believe is not in the best interest of our brand.”

Crutchfield says the company has recently invested in a two-color pad printer to increase its ability to created customized and personalized brand experiences.

Other known companies with transaction sites for business include 1-800FLOWERS.com and, in the gift card market, NGC Gift Cards.  RRN will be reporting on another market leader coming to market with a site for managing the gifting, imprinted product, and spot award markets in the coming weeks.
