BrandMediaCoalition.com Offers Portal to Brand Media Resources

The Brand Media Coalition aims to educate organizations about the power of brands for business, event, and promotional gifting, as well as rewards and recognition, to tens of thousands of promotional products distributors now receptive to selling brands and gift cards.

brand media coalitionThe Brand Media Coalition was founded on a simple premise: Brands tell a powerful story for business, event, and promotional gifts, as well as rewards and recognition that almost any organization can benefit from and that promotional products distributors and related resellers can benefit by understanding how each brand tells a different story for a different audience.

According to Bruce Bolger, President of the Enterprise Engagement Alliance, which manages the Brand Media Coalition on behalf of a growing number of supplier sponsors, “After 30 years of outreach effort supporting the use of rewards and recognition, no one in this industry can yet go to a social gathering and say what they do without people acting surprised that such a business exists. Now that promotional products distributors and their customers have awoken to the power of brands for gifting, it’s a big opportunity for brands to greatly expand their share of the $20 billion promotional products market. In equal measure, it’s an opportunity for distributors to apply their expertise in product selection to brand curation for gifting and experiences and to enhance their own value proposition to clients.”

Observes Bolger, “The industry has tried since the 1990s to educate distributors on the use of incentive, recognition, and loyalty programs, and this business might make sense for up to 10% of them. The use of brands in gifting makes sense for 100% of them, because it’s a natural for them to extend their expertise in selecting products into selecting brands and helping clients tell better stories through them in gifting and award programs.”

The BrandMediaCoalition.com features include:
  • The first-ever Brand Media Guide designed to make it easier for merchandisers of gifts, incentives, recognition, and loyalty, etc. to more carefully curate brands for each audience, better tell their stories in program marketing, and source brands and gift cards from the master fulfillment wholesalers best able to maximize the reward experience and provide the best pricing.
  • The free Brand Media Specialist program for anyone involved with the sales or procurement for brands seeking to get access to the latest research, how-to information, and to receive special offers, referral fees, discounts, commissions, and other benefits from participating coalition members, which consist of multiple master fulfillment companies representing almost every leading brand in the world.
  • The Brand Media Specialist certification for those distributors and other solution providers wishing to demonstrate their commitment to scientific use of brands and non-cash rewards in business, event, and promotional gifting, as well as rewards and recognition. Details on this updated program will be announced shortly.
The Brand Media Coalition will be marketed through key promotional products e-media and events.

Explains Ed Hearne, Director of Client Success at Harco Incentives, one of the founding sponsors, “The Brand Media concept not only helps our clients realize positive impact from their merchandise gifting and reward programs, it also elevates the respect they receive from their clients as  Brand experts.  Brand experts go above and beyond the retail experience, providing expertise and analytics to make better informed decisions and experiences.”
