Thailand Hosts Enormous Incentive Trip From China

 
Over 2,500 top performers from Infinitus, a large Chinese herbal medicinal products brand, arrived in Thailand in May, traveling in three groups exploring different regions of the country to experience the cultural and natural attractions of Thailand before converging in Bangkok. According to the report in Travel and TourWorld, “the first group’s itinerary spanned the tropical beaches and vibrant nightlife of Phuket, followed by the bustling capital city. The second group journeyed through the northern city of Chiang Mai, renowned for its rich heritage and mountainous landscapes. The third group ventured along the eastern seaboard, visiting Pattaya and Rayong, areas celebrated for their seaside resorts and coastal charm.” They thereafter converged in Bangkok for educational and recognition events.
 

Business Event Fam in Ireland Focuses on Local Experiences

 
To showcase Ireland to influential British MICE buyers, and “to inspire them to recommend the island of Ireland to their clients for future meetings and incentive travel,” the itinerary hosted by Tourism Ireland included a food tour of Galway city, a traditional Irish singing and dancing workshop at Stiúideo Cuan and a guided tour of Micil Distillery.” The group also experienced Ireland’s boglands at Cnoc Suain, a 4x4 jeep adventure and visits to the Cliffs of Moher. Wallace Travel Group helped plan the program. This focus on local authentic experiences reflects what appears to be a growing trend in the MICE market.
 

SITE Welcomes Record Size Attendees at IMEX Event Annette Gregg

 
According to a report in Travel Daily News, 500 professionals attended its annual IMEX event, the largest number effort. The evening marked the official launch of its new “chapter-lite membership model, SITE affiliates, a key step in expanding SITE’s global footprint,” according to the group. Attendees included both buyers and suppliers from around the year. Says Annette Gregg, SITE CEO: “SITE NITE Europe continues to embody the spirit of connection and collaboration that powers the incentive travel industry. Last night’s energy, warmth, and enthusiasm remind us that this sector isn’t just about business – it’s about building bridges, sharing cultures, and celebrating our global community.”

Weber and Blackstone Products have officially joined forces, according to the recent announcement. Operating under a new holding company, Weber Blackstone, each brand will continue to bring its iconic products to market. Roger Dahle, founder of Blackstone, will serve as CEO of the combined company.
