Kimberly Martin Biggs, IRR Industry Veteran, Dies at 64

Kimberly Martin Biggs, a longtime executive in the incentives, rewards, and recognition industry died Aug. 6 in Charlotte after a brief battle with cancer. She was 64. Her career spanned more than three decades in corporate sales at leading global brands.
Biggs built her reputation in corporate sales and brand development, beginning her career with Clinique in the 1980s before moving into senior leadership positions at Godiva Chocolatier, Montblanc, Samsonite, Yankee Candle Company, Orrefors Kosta Boda, and Village Candle Company. She later directed corporate and channel sales at Brookstone, and since 2019 had served as Head of Corporate Sales for United States Luggage Company. Known for her deep knowledge of client engagement and her ability to forge lasting partnerships, Biggs played a key role in helping household-name brands build their corporate sales divisions across industries.
Beyond her professional achievements, Biggs was devoted to her family. She is survived by her husband, Mark Biggs, and daughter, Dr. Kristin Biggs, whose career as a dentist she counted among her greatest joys. The couple shared a love of travel, scuba diving, boating, and rescuing animals. Biggs dedicated her time to volunteering as a Girl Scout leader, supporting Catherine’s House, and walking dogs at local shelters.
A graduate of University North Carolina, Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science degree and later an MBA from Pfeiffer University, Biggs is remembered by colleagues as a determined professional and by friends as the “Pied Piper” who brought people together with humor, warmth, and an unwavering spirit.
A visitation will be held on Sat, Aug 23, 2025, from 12 pm to 1 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Belmont, 102 S. Central Ave., Belmont NC. The service will be livestreamed at fpc-belmont.org. In keeping with her spirit, attendees are invited to wear their best pantsuits.
