Matt Kerper, Chief Growth Officer, Mica, is the new Board President of the Incentive Gift Card Coalition (IGCC), a Strategic Industry Group within the Incentive Marketing Association (IMA). According to the IMA, “Kerper has held various roles involving strategy, corporate/business development and executive management at public and private companies in the payments and incentive industry for over 25 years. For the past four years, he has been an active volunteer on the IGCC Board of Directors and Executive Committee, leveraging a multi-faceted background that spans third-party distribution/aggregation, merchant-centric initiatives, production/fulfillment, as well as technology and innovation.”
 
Kerper says that one of his “goals for the upcoming IGCC board year is boosting participation and volunteer engagement, acknowledging that diverse perspectives are crucial for moving the gift card incentive sector forward. "I have been humbled and honored to participate alongside the IGCC Board and members in delivering on driving awareness of the benefits of gift cards in incentives. Through collaboration with our 85+ member companies and 155+ individual members, my goal is to champion initiatives that maximize value and elevate the role of gift cards in incentives and rewards.”

The IGCC elected Anne Jetter, SB Collectiv (Stoner Bunting), Executive Vice President; Steve Bradbery, Savvy, Treasurer/Secretary; and Hollis Thornton, CPIM, Totus Gift Card Management, LLC, Past President.
 

Touch Incentives Buys OneConcepts Group

A loyalty, recognition, and reward company based in Holland has purchased a fulfillment company in Germany to expand its services.
 
As part of its “buy-and-build strategy,” Touch Incentive has purchased oneConcepts Group, a merchandise, fulfillment and services firm supporting loyalty and incentive programs in  in Europe.
 
According to Touch Incentive’s news release, “This strategic acquisition underlines (its) ambition to grow further in Europe and strengthen its position as European market leader.” It says that oneConcepts adds valuable expertise and client portfolio to Touch Incentive’s growing network.
 
Says Dennis van den Berg, CEO of Touch, “By adding oneConcepts to our portfolio, we not only strengthen our position in Europe, but also our ability to best serve clients with a range of impactful loyalty solutions.”
